町会にいる人全体を、部に分けます。
部の代表が、部長です。
部の中に組があります。
組の代表が、組長です。

The neighborhood association is divided into several districts.
Each division is led by a District Leader.
Within each division, there are smaller units called groups.
Each group is led by a Group Leader.

管理部門/Administration

総務委員会 / General Affairs Committee

町会の運営や会議の準備、各種連絡・調整など、全体の事務を担当します。
Responsible for the administration of the neighborhood association, including meetings, communications, and coordination.

防災委員会 / Disaster Prevention Committee

防災訓練や備蓄管理などを行い、災害に備えた地域の安全づくりを担当します。
Responsible for disaster preparedness, including drills, emergency supplies, and community safety planning.

安全委員会 / Safety Committee

地域の防犯や交通安全など、住民が安心して暮らせる環境づくりを担当します。
Responsible for crime prevention and traffic safety to ensure a secure and safe community.

文化委員会 / Cultural Committee

地域の文化活動や交流イベントの企画・運営を担当します。
Responsible for planning and organizing cultural activities and community events.

総会/General Assembly

(通常・臨時)（regular / special）

総会は、町会の大切なことを決める会議です。
活動計画、予算・決算、役員、会則の変更などについて話し合い、決定します。

総会には、役員会の基準で選ばれた代議員が参加します。

定期総会は毎年５月頃に開催され、必要に応じて臨時総会も開かれます。

総会の内容は、終了後に会員へ報告されます。

The General Meeting is a meeting where important matters of the neighborhood association are discussed and decided.
This includes activity plans, budgets and financial reports, officers, and changes to the association rules.

The meeting is attended by representatives selected according to standards approved by the board.

The Regular General Meeting is usually held once a year in May, and Special General Meetings may also be held when necessary.

After the meeting, a summary of the discussions and decisions is shared with members.

役員会 / Board of Directors

(月1回程度)（about once a month）

役員会について / About the Board Meeting

役員会は、町会の運営について話し合う会議です。
会長・副会長・会計などの役員と、各委員会の委員で構成されます。

役員会では、総会に提出する内容や、総会で決まった事項の実施、その他の日常的な運営について話し合い、決定します。

The Board Meeting is a meeting to discuss and manage the operations of the neighborhood association.
It consists of officers such as the president, vice presidents, and treasurer, as well as committee members.

The board discusses and decides matters to be presented to the General Meeting, the implementation of decisions made at the General Meeting, and other day-to-day operations.

会計・文書管理について / About Accounting and Document Management

町会の活動費は、会費や寄付金などによってまかなわれています。

会計年度は、毎年４月１日から翌年３月３１日までです。
会計報告は監査を経て、定期総会で承認を受けます。

また、会員名簿や会計簿などの文書は事務局で管理され、会員は閲覧することができます。

The association’s expenses are covered by membership fees, donations, and other income.

The fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31 of the following year.
Financial reports are audited and submitted to the Regular General Meeting for approval.

Member lists, accounting records, and other documents are kept by the office and may be viewed by members.
